My Official Resignation Letter

Greetings Jah People! Below is my official Resignation Letter

I am writing to notify you that I am resigning from my job as the Presenter of Wake up Call and from Irie Fm. My last day of employment will be December 12, 2014.

I appreciate all the opportunities I have been awarded during my time with the company and also the professional guidance I’ve received. My employment at the company has allowed me to connect with the Jamaican audience in a unique way that I could not have imagined. I was also able to give hope to the young aspiring “voiceless” Jamaican Artistes and that has been one of my greatest accomplishments yet.

I would like to thank the Producers, Engineers, Technicians and all those who have helped to make my show a success from the back-end.  I have truly enjoyed my tenure at the Company over the last fifteen years.
I wish you and the company all the best and do hope that our paths will cross again in the future. If there is anything I can do to make this transition easier please don’t hesitate to ask.

I leave with a quote from Andre Gide “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.”

Yours Sincerely
Deron “Ron” Muschette

  23. Well said, well put together, Mr Ron, but where is Irie Fm's reply? If what I see here is their reply, they could not bother to give one.

  24. This response has maybe a full sentence but it's saying a lot. Was this all that could have said after such an impressive letter which am sure took valuable time to put together, and o - gosh man, not to mention the 14 years set aside just for them?

  31. Ron, the letter may as had say, "glad you are gone Ron!" Nevertheless, the good thing about life is that no one can take your knowledge away. Don't let it get you down. Honestly, it even discourages me from listening to Irie because if so they deal with you who helped pushed them to the top, then they don't appreciate their listeners either as I only contribute $6 monthly. However, go out and discover your new oceans Ron! Let God lead and you will never drown, you must stay afloat. Much Love

    ReplyDelete
  32. Like seriously, seems they want you gone long time

    ReplyDelete
  33. Not even thanks for your hard work and we do regret this move by you. You will be sadly missed.

  35. That response from the company you spent approximately 14 years helping to build shows you just how much your contribution meant to them. Nonetheless, change is good and as my mother would say, "cow never know th e use of him tail till him loose it!" Ron you ate blessed, gwaan eat yup food yaah.

  40. I would like to post the response to that letter, as a Manager who would have appreciated an employee of 14 years:

    Dear Deron "Ron" Muschette:

It was indeed a pleasure to work with you over the years. You played a major role in the development of IRIE FM as the leading radio station and for that, we salute you. We would like to wish you all the best and hope you continue to positively impact the lives of persons around you. We would also like you to complete this exit questionnaire to let us know if there is anything we could do to make our company or the experience of our employees better.

Again, thank you for your 14 years of service; we will truly miss a valuable brother.

    Best Wishes,

    Management.

  47. Ron it was a pleasure listening to you in the mornings. Your show ensured that me and many Jamaicans started the weekdays on a positive note. I can't thank you enough for that. Your show also allowed many young and up coming artistes to get a buss and eat a food. For that we are all grateful. I hope that you will be just as successful or even more at Mello Fm as you were at Irie Fm. As for that response from Irie, I am taken aback. Mi lose off dem. I am still a big Irie Fm fan though. Big up yourself Ron.
